Position Overview

EMIT Learning is seeking a qualified Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to provide school-based physical therapy services for K–12 students. The Physical Therapist will support students’ functional mobility, participation, and access to their educational environment through individualized therapy services and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to students in a school setting
• Support students’ mobility, positioning, strength, balance, and functional skills
• Complete evaluations, assessments, progress documentation, and therapy reports
• Develop and implement therapy goals aligned with student IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Siras/AbleSpace IEP system

Position Details

• Student Population: K–12
• Caseload: Approximately 20 students (+/-)
• IEP System: Siras/AbleSpace
• School Sites: Locations pending assignment
• Mileage: Travel between assigned school sites will be reimbursed
• Schedule: Approximately 15–20 hours per week
• Contract Period: August 11, 2026 – June 4, 2027
• Extended School Year (ESY): Option available

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license required
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-based populations preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and educational settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
