We are seeking an experienced Senior Aerospace Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership and advanced systems engineering expertise supporting aerospace product development and research initiatives. This role will lead complex systems engineering activities related to new technologies, thermal systems, product development, and customer-driven engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong aerospace systems engineering experience, expertise in requirements management, system analysis, MBSE methodologies, and the ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives from concept through validation.

Essential Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in systems engineering activities
Lead internal and customer design reviews and technical discussions
Develop and manage system requirements, including elicitation, analysis, validation, decomposition, and traceability
Translate customer needs into product, subsystem, and interface requirements
Conduct system analysis, trade studies, functional testing, and performance evaluations
Research, develop, and integrate advanced aerospace technologies and engineering solutions
Support RD and new product development initiatives
Compile and analyze operational, test, and research data to establish system performance standards
Develop technical proposals, presentations, and engineering documentation for internal stakeholders and customers
Utilize MBSE principles and systems engineering tools such as Cameo
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges
Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards including AS9100 and ISO 9001
Mentor and support the technical development of engineering team members
Protect company intellectual property and support strategic engineering initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required
Master’s degree preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
Minimum 7+ years of related systems engineering experience
Aerospace industry experience required
Strong experience with systems engineering methodologies and product development lifecycles
Experience with requirements management and traceability
Knowledge of MBSE principles and practical experience using Cameo or similar tools
Experience conducting system analysis, trade studies, and validation testing
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9000/9001, and aerospace regulatory standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information to customers and leadership
Ability to work cross-functionally and lead complex engineering initiatives
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
Thermal Systems engineering experience strongly preferred
Experience supporting aerospace RD programs
Knowledge of advanced engineering analysis and design tools
Experience leading customer-facing technical reviews and presentations
Ability to mentor junior engineers and influence technical strategy
