Backal Hospitality Group is seeking a polished, high-energy, and detail-oriented Concierge & Tenant Relations Coordinatorto serve as the face and operational anchor of our premier commercial property amenity center in South San Francisco.
This is an active, fully on-site role perfect for a hospitality professional who excels at building communities, organizing seamless corporate experiences, and managing multi-faceted operations. You will act as the primary liaison for building tenants while working in tandem with both our brand-new Restaurant opening team and our state-of-the-art Conference Center operations. From welcoming new tenants to supporting the food and beverage concession, you will ensure a high-touch experience every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations & Onboarding
- Serve as the primary, welcoming point of contact for all tenants, guests, and vendors entering the property.
- Assist in the tenant onboarding process, ensuring new companies and their employees are seamlessly integrated, registered, and familiar with all building amenities and guidelines.
- Build strong, lasting professional relationships with tenants to proactively anticipate and address community needs.
Event Coordination & Programming
- Collaborate with property management and hospitality teams to design, market, and execute tenant engagement events, happy hours, and seasonal activations.
- Assist tenants with the logistics of booking, planning, and coordinating internal meetings or private gatherings within the amenity spaces.
- Work closely with the Conference Center team to ensure smooth transitions, setups, and high touch event execution.
Building Services Liaison
- Act as the communication bridge between tenants and building engineering/property management for service requests, facility maintenance, and security access.
- Maintain the pristine visual presentation of the main lobby, lounge areas, and shared community spaces throughout the day with building operations team.
Food & Beverage Concession Assistance
- Partner closely with the restaurant opening team to promote upcoming culinary concepts, daily specials, and menu offerings to the building community.
- Provide operational and guest-service support for the grab-and-go concession and daytime food beverage operations during peak hours.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in hospitality, corporate concierge services, restaurant service, or guest relations.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to connect with diverse corporate professionals and executives.
- Organization: A multi-tasker who can pivot easily from administrative coordination to hands-on event setup or food & beverage support.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with an eye for the small details that elevate a guest's experience..
- Presence: A polished, professional presentation appropriate for a corporate environment.
