Job Description:
A local manufacturing company is seeking an Engineering Technician / Engineering Intern to support engineering projects and daily operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude who is eager to develop hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Update engineering documentation and production document packages
• Assist with design and process improvement projects
• Create and maintain digital records and tracking systems
• Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to support engineering projects
• Organize tools, fixtures, and production equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Support quality improvement and testing initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering degree program preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• SolidWorks experience required
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use metric measurements
• Basic math skills including fractions and measurements
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety
