Propersys Corporation is looking for a motivated PLC programmer for our Gas Monitoring Systems (GMS) team. As a software engineer, you will work with our engineering and construction team to develop, implement, and maintain GMS safety and integrity for our large-scale construction projects. You will be responsible for analyzing existing PLC designs, making cost-effective improvements, conducting research, designing testing methods, completing quality assurance and running diagnostics. Propersys Corporation is looking for an individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and extensive practical experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and evaluate innovative software solutions for projects and assignments with a focus on cost reduction, safety, and reliability.
• Provide technical direction and/or activity supervision to contractors and subcontractors as required by specific assignments and projects.
• Troubleshoot problems and design solutions associated with legacy systems and processes.
• Prepare detailed designs and standards for testing.
• Perform other duties, assignments, or projects as necessary.

Required Education and Experience:

• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in mechanical/electrical engineering or similar background.

Required Skills:

• Solid knowledge in PLC systems.
• Communicates well in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with monitoring and alarm systems.
• Experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC.
• PE experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English
