• Registration as a Professional Engineer is highly desirable. If registration has not been obtained, then it is expected that the minimum education and professional experience requirements for registration have been met.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing computer programs/software (i.e. Microsoft office and environmental engineering software) to prepare engineering reports, studies, permits, etc.; 2) Participating in site visits and/or investigations to assess environmental compliance and identify deficiencies and ensuring compliance with local, state, and/or federal laws, codes, and regulations; 3) Assist with developing scopes of work and government estimates for environmental projects.
