MUST HAVE ORACLE R12 Experience SUMMARY DESCRIPTION The OneSource Tax Determination Administrator and Support Specialist – OneSource SaaS works under the supervision of the Director, Corporate Systems and is responsible for the technical support, administration, and operational stability of the Thomson Reuters OneSource Tax Determination SaaS application. This role focuses on IT-owned responsibilities, including system access, integrations, security, incident management, vendor coordination, and change management. The position serves as the primary IT point of contact for the OneSource platform, ensuring application availability, performance, and compliance with corporate IT and regulatory standards. This role does not perform tax data maintenance, configuration of business rules, or transactional processing, which remain the responsibility of the business. Instead, the specialist partners closely with tax and finance stakeholders to support the underlying technology, integrations, and platform controls that enable business operations. The role also collaborates with external vendors, internal infrastructure teams, and the Information Systems compliance team to support releases, upgrades, validation activities, and incident resolution in a controlled and traceable manner. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Reports to the Director, Corporate Systems SUPERVISION EXERCISED At present, no direct reports to this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES IT Application Support & Operations • Provide day-to-day technical support for the OneSource Tax Determination application, including incident triage, issue escalation, and coordination of resolutions. • Serve as the IT owner for OneSource Tax Determination, managing system availability, performance monitoring, and access to the application. • Administer user access, role provisioning, and deprovisioning in accordance with security and compliance standards. • Support single sign-on (SSO), authentication, and security-related configurations in collaboration with identity and security teams. Integrations & Technical Interfaces • Support and monitor integrations between OneSource and upstream/downstream enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, data feeds, reporting tools). • Troubleshoot integration failures, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal technical teams. • Partner with business and vendors during integration changes, upgrades, or new interface implementations. Vendor & Release Management • Act as the primary IT liaison with the Thomson Reuters for support cases, incidents, and escalations. • Review SaaS release documentation and release notes to assess IT impacts, risks, and required actions. • Coordinate technical testing, regression testing support, and validation activities related to vendor releases and patches. Change Management & Compliance • Ensure all changes related to OneSource follow established change management, validation, and documentation processes. • Support risk assessments for system changes and releases, identifying technical impacts and mitigation actions. • Maintain system documentation, including architecture diagrams, integrations, configuration records, and support procedures. • Collaborate with the IS compliance team to ensure adherence to SOX, internal quality policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner closely with Tax, Finance, and Compliance stakeholders to support the technology enabling OneSource, while reinforcing clear business vs. IT ownership boundaries. • Participate in cross-functional projects as the IT subject matter expert for the OneSource platform. • Provide technical guidance during audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to OneSource system controls. DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 2–5 years of experience supporting OneSource Tax Determination application integrated in an Information System landscape. • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), system testing, and change control processes. • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage users, developers, and business leaders. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new enterprise systems. • Collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset. • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, FDA validation, or similar) desirable.
