Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through warm calling, networking, and strategic outreach to hospitality and corporate clients
• Manage existing customer accounts by providing personalized service, understanding their needs, and offering tailored floral and event solutions
• Conduct in-person meetings with clients to present proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales effectively
• Utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for targeted marketing efforts
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate event details, ensuring client expectations are exceeded from initial contact through event execution
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitor activities, and product offerings to position our services competitively
• Meet or surpass sales goals by consistently closing deals and expanding our client base within the hospitality sector

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or outside sales within a corporate or enterprise selling environment
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing sales in B2B settings
• Familiarity with sales management systems like Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing customer relationships effectively
• Demonstrated ability in client communication, relationship management, and account management strategies
• Experience in marketing or technology sales is advantageous but not required; a passion for floral design or events is a plus
• Excellent analysis skills to assess client needs and develop compelling proposals that drive deal closure
• Ability to engage in warm calling and conduct professional face-to-face meetings confidently
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively in a corporate sales environment

Pay: $45,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
