About Eliza Jane Events

Eliza Jane Events is a luxury wedding planning company based in Rochester, NY. In addition to planning weddings, we recently launched the EJE Education Program, an online educational platform designed to help wedding planners build sustainable, profitable businesses through practical systems, processes, and mentorship.

We're looking for a creative, organized marketer to take ownership of promoting this program over the next six months.

About the Role

This is not an agency position. We're looking for someone to become an extension of our team and lead the marketing efforts for the EJE Education Program.

The course has already been built, branding is established, and we have a growing library of photos and video content. Your role will be to develop a strategic marketing plan and bring it to life through consistent execution.

This is a six-month contract position with the potential to extend based on performance and program growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive six-month marketing plan for the EJE Education Program.
• Create and schedule engaging Instagram content, including Reels, carousel posts, Stories, and graphics.
• Repurpose existing photos, videos, and educational content into compelling social media content.
• Write captions and calls to action that encourage engagement and course enrollment.
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule.
• Monitor content performance and adjust strategy based on analytics.
• Stay current on Instagram trends and identify opportunities to increase reach and visibility.
• Collaborate with Eliza to review ideas, upcoming launches, and campaign priorities.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has experience managing Instagram accounts for a business or brand.
• Understands social media strategy—not just content creation.
• Is highly organized and able to work independently.
• Has strong writing and communication skills.
• Is comfortable taking initiative and bringing new marketing ideas to the table.
• Can balance creativity with data-driven decision making.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience marketing an online course, educational program, coaching business, or membership.
• Experience in the wedding, events, or creative entrepreneur industry.
• Familiarity with Canva, Instagram scheduling platforms, and basic social media analytics.
• A portfolio or examples of previous social media work and measurable results.
