The Harold K. Scholz Company is an electrical contractor and manufacturer located in Ralston, NE that specializes in constructing, modifying and maintaining substations, power plants, switchgear, power systems, and control systems for small municipalities and large commercial industries in NE, IA, MN, SD, KS and MO.

We are seeking a Project Manager and Cost Estimator with integrity, honesty, a strong work ethic, an appreciation for quality, is customer-minded, and is a team player. Candidates need to be detail-oriented, proficient with Excel, safety-minded, mechanically minded, a problem solver, flexible, cooperative, experienced in construction and/or fabrication, and takes true pride in quality work and in maintaining an outstanding company reputation.

This is a daytime in-office position in Ralston, NE, with limited travel required.

Work responsibilities include:

• Project cost estimating
• Bid preparation, submittal, and follow-up
• Interface with engineers, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Coordination, collaboration, and cooperation with internal personnel
• Material purchasing and procurement
• Negotiating and managing contracts and sub-contracts
• Scheduling projects, materials, and personnel
• Monitoring project progress and cost
• Identifying and solving problems
• Answering questions and developing project strategies
• Evaluating and refining project efficiency
• Developing, submitting, and monitoring approval documentation
• Creating, submitting, and tracking project billings
• Finalizing project details, punch lists, documentation, and billings

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
