As we continue to expand across North America, we're looking for an exceptional Corporate Controller to help build the financial foundation that will support our next stage of growth.

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Human Resources, you'll become a key member of the leadership team responsible for strengthening Voltari's financial systems, supporting operations, and building the processes, controls, and financial discipline that will enable our organization to scale into a world-class manufacturing company.

As we continue to scale, you'll work alongside the Director of Finance & HR to build a best-in-class finance function that supports innovation, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth while partnering closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Operations. You’ll help establish the processes, controls, reporting frameworks, and financial insights that strengthen governance, improve decision-making, ensure compliance, and position Voltari for its next stage of growth.

• Responsibilities

Finance and Technical Accounting

• Lead Voltari's full-cycle accounting function, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Maintain the integrity of Voltari's financial records and accounting policies.
• Oversee revenue recognition for long-term contracts, milestone billing, customer deposits, and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting.
• Manage inventory valuation, manufacturing costing, and job costing.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate annual audits and corporate tax filings while serving as the primary liaison with external auditors and advisors.

Operations & Manufacturing

Working closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales, you will:

• Develop financial reporting that supports operational decision-making.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory performance, project profitability, and gross margins.
• Support inventory planning, production costing, procurement, and supply chain initiatives.
• Provide financial insights that improve operational performance and profitability.
• Partner with leadership to identify risks, opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Systems, Processes & Continuous Improvement

You'll play a leading role in building Voltari's financial infrastructure by:

• Designing scalable accounting processes, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Optimizing QuickBooks and related financial systems.
• Supporting future ERP evaluation and implementation as Voltari continues to grow.
• Developing documentation that promotes consistency, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Identifying automation opportunities and eliminating manual processes.
• Building financial systems that support Voltari's continued growth across North America.

Cross-Border Accounting & Compliance

Supporting Voltari's Canadian and U.S. operations, you will:

• Manage accounting activities across multiple Canadian and U.S. entities.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Support consolidated financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. accounting standards, payroll regulations, tax requirements, and corporate reporting obligations.
• Partner with external auditors, payroll providers, and regulatory agencies.
• Help standardize financial processes while respecting jurisdictional requirements.

Skills

• Experience supporting accounting operations across Canadian and U.S. entities.
• Familiarity with Canadian ASPE.
• Experience supporting vertically integrated manufacturing organizations.
• ERP implementation, financial systems optimization, or business process improvement experience (QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP platforms).
• Experience with automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting a publicly traded company, SEC reporting, or IPO readiness.
• Experience working in organizations undergoing rapid growth and operational transformation.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA designation.
• 8 –12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within a manufacturing, technology, or other high-growth environment.
• Proven experience leading a full-cycle accounting function.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks, including financial reporting, inventory management, chart of accounts, integrations, and financial system optimization.
