This position is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Candidates must live in the region, as the role requires weekly in-office attendance and onsite client support visits, in addition to their work-from-home days. Applicants must have at least four years of post-graduation experience in a professional business environment. Recent graduates will not be considered for this role as we are seeking an IT Support Engineer with demonstrated progressive experience, advancing from field support to senior-level responsibilities. Compensation will be based on skill and experience.

Candidates should bring experience beyond first-level help desk support, with the ability to independently diagnose, escalate, and resolve more complex technical issues in a professional client environment.

Job Description Summary

Our clients rely on us to manage their entire infrastructure, everything from endpoint troubleshooting, server, switch, and firewall configuration to cloud infrastructure. Many of our clients are migrating their workload to the cloud. By joining us, you will be part of a team that ensures our clients' technology meets the needs of their business.

What will you do? The following could vary based on your skills and experience.

• You will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining clients’ endpoints, cloud infrastructure, servers, and networks by troubleshooting and maintaining them.
• You will set up, install, configure, and support endpoints and network equipment.
• Senior engineers will spend much of their time on project work, which you may assist them. You will use Senior Engineers as a mentor to help guide and mentor you.
• You will be actively involved in implementing endpoint, cloud, and network security measures.
• You will be required to participate in our on-call rotation, approximately two to three times a year.

Support is typically done remotely with the occasional visit to client sites. All work is dispatched from our Forest Hills office with access to a company vehicle.

After the initial onboarding and training period, you will work a combination of time in our office and at the client's office. You may go to one or as many as five clients within a day, depending on the project/scope of work, but you may return for multiple days until all the work is complete. You may be included in an on-site rotation and visit certain clients weekly or monthly.

Education And Experience:

• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is required.
• Must have at least four years of progressive experience. Must include hands-on technical experience in a production environment, post-graduation.

Miscellaneous:

• Work week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Overtime/weekends as needed).

Benefits:

• Excellent Pay - $65,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year based on skill and experience.
