Position Title: Youth Soccer Head Coach
Location: Glenview, Illinois

Position Overview

FC1 Academy is seeking a motivated and experienced Youth Soccer Head Coach to coach and lead multiple teams across our youth and club programs. This role is hands-on and soccer-focused, ideal for a coach who enjoys working directly with players on the field while contributing to a collaborative coaching environment.

The position includes responsibility for coaching 2 – 4 club-level teams and supporting overall youth programming across age groups U7–U19. This is not a director-level role; the focus is coaching, development, and day-to-day team leadership.

Compensation:
$12,000 – $17,000 per team

Compensation is based on coaching experience, license, and the assigned platform (age group/program).

Additional earning opportunities are available through club‑run camps, clinics, and personal training sessions. The club provides the setup and player access.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as Head Coach for 2 – 4 club teams.

Plan and deliver quality, age-appropriate training sessions.

Implement the club’s curriculum and playing philosophy consistently.

Support and contribute to youth programming across U7–U19 age groups.

Communicate clearly and professionally with players, parents, and staff.

Uphold club standards related to professionalism, behavior, and culture.

Qualifications

Minimum USSF C License (or equivalent) required.

Prior experience coaching youth or competitive club teams.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Availability for evenings, weekends, and tournaments as required.
