We are a culturally sensitive, identity-affirming (LGBTQ+ and Neurodivergent), non-pathological mental health private practice in Highland Park, Northeast Los Angeles. We are seeking a registered associate therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) who can maintain a minimum of 18-20 sessions per week. We primarily focus on providing individual and couples therapy for adults and teens with an emphasis on trauma recovery, specifically intergenerational trauma, grief and loss, Highly Sensitive (HSP), BIPOC, and neurodivergent people. Our therapeutic approach is rooted in IFS (Internal Family Systems) and cultural sensitivities and nuance. We incorporate modalities, including attachment-based, relationally focused, and somatically oriented therapy. We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for clients with strong intellectual and problem-solving capacities. Our therapists value self-growth and are continually curious about the intersections between their own narratives and those of their clients. They offer personalized, compassionate, and high-quality therapy services. A special welcome to applicants who have a strong desire to deepen their therapeutic work through the IFS lens, and for whom therapy is their second career.
