What you will be doing:
- Lead cabinet installations from layout through final completion.
- Coordinate daily activities of installers and helpers on the job site.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to DRCC quality standards.
- Train and mentor newer installers in DRCC installation standards.
- Install and fit trim, fillers, moldings, scribe pieces, and other finish details to achieve a polished final product
- Lay out walls and understand how cabinetry integrates into each space
- Install cabinets level, plumb, and square with consistent, high-quality reveals
- Install hardware, pulls, countertops, and paneling
- Read and interpret drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Communicate professionally with contractors, trades, clients, and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Provide timely updates and communicate issues to the Install Manager
- Follow installation schedules and flag risks to timelines early
- Maintain assigned company vehicle and report any concerns
- Assist with cabinet delivery as needed
- Support shop work when assigned
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of cabinet installation
- Additional experience in finish carpentry, millwork, woodworking, or closely related experience a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and stay on track to meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of sequencing complex cabinet installations
- Ability to make field decisions while maintaining quality and schedule
- Proven ability to read and interpret drawings
- Skilled with measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing cabinetry, trim, and finish materials using hand tools and woodworking equipment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication skills with both customers and internal teams
- Organized with solid problem-solving ability in the field
- Able to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Leads by example through professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to craftsmanship
- Dependable, punctual, and accountable
- Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed to meet project timelines and customer commitments
