Join our dynamic team as an NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting quality assurance and inspection processes across manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting non-destructive testing techniques such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, or radiographic inspections to identify defects or irregularities in materials and components
• Support quality control and quality assurance activities by collecting data during inspections and documenting findings accurately
• Prepare test samples, set up testing equipment, and calibrate tools like calipers, micrometers, and hand tools to ensure precise measurements
• Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards to verify compliance during inspections
• Maintain detailed records of inspection results, test reports, and equipment calibration logs for traceability and audit purposes
• Assist in the assembly process by ensuring components are correctly positioned according to specifications using mechanical knowledge and assembly skills
• Support the team in maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during testing procedures

Requirements

• Basic understanding of surface mount technology (SMT) processes and manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with quality inspection techniques, data collection methods, and quality assurance principles
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and industry standards such as ASME codes & standards
• Experience or training in non-destructive testing methods is preferred but not required; willingness to learn on the job is essential
• Proficiency with hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and other measurement devices
• Strong analysis skills to interpret inspection data accurately and identify potential issues
• Ability to follow detailed instructions meticulously while maintaining attention to detail during inspections and assembly tasks
• Good communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating effectively with team members
