Job Summary
We are seeking an Operations Technician I - Veterinary Biologics to support RNA Particle vaccine production in a USDA-licensed manufacturing environment in Ames, IA. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented production, laboratory, or biotech professional who enjoys hands-on work in a regulated scientific setting.
In this role, you will support vaccine manufacturing, laboratory preparation, aseptic processing, documentation, inventory handling, and material movement. You will work as part of a collaborative Veterinary Biologics Production team that values quality, safety, accuracy, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the production of RNA Particle vaccine products in compliance with USDA regulations, quality standards, and established procedures.
- Support blend and fill operations, aseptic processing, media preparation, formulation, harvest activities, and related biologics manufacturing tasks.
- Maintain accurate batch records, production documentation, training records, and inventory information using good documentation practices.
- Perform laboratory support activities including pipetting, solution preparation, Vero cell line maintenance, cell culture support, and restocking supplies.
- Handle warehouse and material movement tasks, including unloading deliveries, staging materials, cycle counting, moving inventory, and preparing products for shipment.
- Follow all safety, PPE, aseptic technique, quality, and regulatory requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
