Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking with precision
• Install doors, windows, cabinetry, trim molding, siding, and fixtures according to specifications
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining strict adherence to power tool safety protocols
• Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, stucco application, plastering, masonry repairs, and rebar installation
• Fabricate custom wood components using woodworking machines and CNC equipment when necessary
• Assist with roofing projects, siding installation, flooring laying, tile work, electrical wiring for fixtures, plumbing connections, and metal stud framing as needed

Skills

• Extensive experience in residential carpentry including framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and siding work
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution
• Skilled in using hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws for woodworking) with a strong focus on safety procedures
• Knowledge of wood construction materials such as plywood, drywall compounds like plastering or stucco mixes; ability to handle woodworking machines and CNC fabrication tools
• Ability to interpret technical drawings for precise fabrication and installation of fixtures or custom woodwork
• Experience with construction estimating processes to assess material needs and project timelines
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards including power tool safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques
• Capable of performing diverse tasks such as rebar installation for concrete forming or masonry repairs when required
• Hands-on experience in remodeling projects involving flooring installation or tile laying; knowledge of electrical or plumbing basics advantageous
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt schematics or plans during onsite adjustments; excellent communication skills for team collaboration
