Under the general direction of the County Administrator, this dynamic position is responsible for applying appropriate knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to effectively implement large, complex, long term, interdepartmental, and cross-functional projects that enhance county operations and maximize the use of public resources. Creates and manages project deployment strategies, risk assessments, schedules, budgets, deliverables, communication plans, status reports, and performance metrics from concept through implementation. Plan and execute change management tasks required for county operations to embrace, adapt, and support new solutions. Projects requiring integrated management coordination generally originate from Administration and/or the county’s Capital Improvement Planning Committee.
This is a full-time, benefited position based out of the Fillmore Campus located at 12220 Fillmore Street, West Olive, MI 49460. Typical working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution plus a minimum of three (3) years of experience working in project management/coordination or an equivalent combination of professional work experience, training, and education.
