Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our aerospace manufacturing and R&D facilities. This role requires strong expertise in mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and fire protection.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Ensure all systems operate efficiently and comply with aerospace industry standards and safety regulations.
- Lead facility upgrade and expansion projects, including equipment installation and infrastructure improvements.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections related to facility operations and environmental health and safety.
- Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, maintenance, and capital projects.
- Source and manage service contracts for building systems, janitorial services, landscaping, and security.
- Supervise a team of support staff.
- Provide training and development to ensure high performance and safety awareness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing,
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building automation, and energy management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA Training highly preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager).
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, ITAR, etc.).
- Experience with cleanroom environments or specialized aerospace testing facilities.
