We have become a leading supplier of virtually all types of complex airfoil and component patterns for the investment casting industry. Primarily serving the aerospace and industrial gas turbine (IGT) industry, Plas-Mac will supply everything from individual patterns to elaborate fully gated assemblies. These products are later used to power a wide range of applications from small flight engines to the largest landbased industrial gas turbines.

Aerospace and IGT product lines include:

· Complex multiple-vane, single-shot, cored and solid wax patterns

· Cored and solid blades and vanes

· Fully gated pattern assemblies for Equiax, DS and Single Crystal applications that are complete and ready for the dip line

· Compressor wheels, all wax, cored wax and plastic-wax assemblies

· Support for casting schedules on any scale

Job Description

The Plas-Mac corporation has an immediate need for wax finishers/assemblers. The positions are full-time on first shift and there are 2 start times available (5am and 6am).

Job Responsibilities:

· Finishing wax patterns (flash removal and defect repair)

· Attaching sub gating to patterns and building assemblies

· Hand crafting and attention to detail

· Inspection of patterns and assemblies

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience in the investment casting industry

· Experience working in a manufacturing environment
