Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry Level Project Engineer to join our Structural Division. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop foundational skills in project management, structural analysis, and construction practices within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will support project teams in planning, design, and execution phases, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards while gaining hands-on experience in civil and structural engineering.

Duties

• Assist in developing project schedules using project management tools to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Support the preparation of construction documents utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and other Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools
• Contribute to structural analysis and design calculations for steel, concrete, masonry, and geotechnical structures using structural analysis tools and Mathcad
• Collaborate with Project Managers on building code compliance reviews and construction regulation adherence
• Participate in site visits to observe construction progress, verify quality standards, and gather data for system design adjustments
• Aid in drafting technical reports, project documentation, and construction specifications with clarity and precision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a related field from an accredited program
• Basic understanding of project scheduling software and construction management principles
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Bluebeam for drafting and documentation purposes
• Knowledge of structural engineering practices
• Experience or coursework related to geotechnical engineering, building code analysis, and BIM tools is a plus
• Strong math skills with the ability to perform complex calculations using Mathcad or similar programs
• Excellent communication skills for technical writing and team collaboration
• Ability to interpret construction regulations and ensure building code compliance during project development
