Job Description:

DMS Contractors LLC is hiring a skilled Construction Accounting Supervisor / Financial Analyst to lead our accounting department and provide strategic financial oversight.

This position requires a hands-on professional with over 5 years of US construction accounting experience who excels at financial analysis, process optimization, and maintaining precise financial health across multiple ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily accounting functions including AP, AR, job costing, payroll, and GL maintenance.
• Analyze financial trends, budget variances, and project margins to provide strategic insights to ownership.
• Generate regular financial reports, cash flow projections, and project profitability studies.
• Oversee subcontractor management, including insurance verification, lien waivers, and payment applications.
• Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Implement and refine internal financial controls and accounting procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of verified US accounting experience within the Construction or Restoration industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• Demonstrated ability to perform complex financial analysis and financial reporting.
• Mastery of construction-specific accounting practices (WIP, AIA billings, Retainage).
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and industry-standard accounting ERPs.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and high ethical standards.
