Now Hiring: Full-Time (Days) and Per Diem (Days/Eves) Cardiac Sonographers

• Schedule: Full-Time Role: 8am-4pm/7am-3pm; Days with Call, Weekend and Holiday

Rotation; Per Diem Role: 7a-3p/630a-230p/800a-400p

• Locations: Kenmore Mercy Hospital and South Buffalo Mercy Hospital

Work with state-of-the-art Philips cardiac ultrasound equipment in IAC-accredited labs. Mercy is accredited in adult echo, TEE and stress echo. As a heart center, you’ll have the ability to work in new state of the art Philips invasive labs with EP and structural heart procedures.

Our sonographers receive ongoing education, real-time feedback, and strong clinical support from engaged cardiologists—providing excellent opportunities for professional growth.

Position Summary
Perform diagnostic echocardiograms, document findings, and collaborate with physicians to deliver accurate and timely patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic exams following IAC standards
• Conduct Doppler and color flow studies
• Review patient history and prepare reports
• Work closely with physicians and the clinical team
• New graduates train under supervision until fully credentialed sonographers

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate in Cardiac Sonography
• New grads welcome (RDCS or RCS credential or eligible within 1 year of hire)
• BLS certification required within 6 months
• 1,000 clinical cardiac ultrasound hours
• Preferred: 1+ year experience
