Buena Vista Construction is a family-owned residential construction company based in Watsonville, CA, serving the Central Coast and Bay Area. We’re a small business in growth mode, building structure and better processes as we scale.

We’re hiring a full-time Bilingual (Spanish/English) Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager across active remodel and new construction projects. This is a client-facing, phone-heavy role using Odoo as our main system and leveraging AI tools to improve workflow and customer experience.

Schedule: flexible/rotating, occasional weekends

Work style: hybrid + job sites (must have car/license)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily schedules and next steps with clients, subcontractors, and vendors (phone calls all day)
• Conduct project site visits to confirm readiness, progress, and upcoming needs
• Coordinate and attend inspections (city/county and trade-related) and ensure requirements are communicated and tracked
• Attend in-person meetings with clients, vendors, and subcontractors as needed (job sites and/or office)
• Maintain accurate project tasks, dates, and updates in Odoo (Projects)
• Material coordination: track long-lead items, confirm orders, deliveries/pickups, and jobsite readiness
• Build and maintain vendor/subcontractor CRM (contacts, trade info, lead times, notes, communication history)
• Support change requests by documenting, routing, and tracking to completion
• Organize and distribute current plans/specs; understand basic construction drawings for coordination
• Help create and improve checklists, templates, and processes as the business grows

Skills

• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Strong phone communication, professionalism, and follow-through
• Extremely tech-savvy; comfortable learning systems fast (Odoo experience a plus)
• Basic understanding of residential construction and construction drawings
• Calm under pressure; adapts quickly when priorities change and “things hit the fan”
• Reliable vehicle + valid driver’s license (job site travel required)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
