Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technology Administrator Lead to oversee and support enterprise IT infrastructure and technology operations in Jacksonville, FL. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of network, server, cloud, and end-user computing environments while providing technical leadership and support across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology professional with strong infrastructure experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure, including Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure cloud services, networking, and endpoint systems.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure optimal business operations.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related technologies.
- Manage Active Directory and Entra ID environments, including user provisioning, permissions, group policies, and access controls.
- Implement and maintain IT policies, standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, technology deployments, system migrations, and other IT projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user devices.
- Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to develop and implement technology solutions that support operational objectives.
- Manage technology vendor relationships, service agreements, and support contracts.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to IT support personnel and junior administrators.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation, data protection, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, procedures, and technology assets.
- Support a geographically dispersed user community through remote support technologies and occasional onsite assistance.
- Travel to remote locations as necessary to support IT operations, technology deployments, infrastructure projects, and business requirements.
- Participate in after-hours maintenance activities and respond to critical outages or business-impacting incidents when required.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, security, and reliability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Network Administration, or Infrastructure Support.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Lead, Supervisory, or Senior Technical role.
- Strong experience administering:
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Azure
- Active Directory and Entra ID
- Windows Server environments
- Network infrastructure including switching, routing, VPNs, and wireless technologies
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification
- Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed operations
- Experience with endpoint management platforms, virtualization technologies, and cloud infrastructure

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
