Responsibilities

• Process customer requests for material, equipment and weld testing services.
• Consult with customers to understand order requirements.
• Navigate and interpret welding codes such as ASME IX, AWS and API to verify weld qualification requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, process customer orders and purchase orders for materials and services.
• Coordinate testing service orders with in-house and outside testing laboratories.
• Prepare test reports and related documentation for completed testing services.
• Maintain laboratory equipment calibration requirements
• Quality records maintenance

Experience

• Proven experience in a sales role in Manufacturing, Construction or Welding (Certified Welding Inspector, Welding Engineer, Weld Operations Manager, Metallurgist or similar) industry sectors.
• Proficient in various welding processes including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Organized, highly-motivated and reliable.
• AWS Professional Certification is desirable.
• Destructive Testing experience is desirable.

Pay: $58,718.50 - $70,714.76 per year
