The Sr. BCBA of Field Services is the senior clinical leader of our field organization. You will run day-to-day field operations, supervise our RBT team, carry a meaningful clinical caseload, and partner directly with our COO on the decisions that shape care delivery and growth.
This is a growth seat. As GBH adds clinical pods and BCBA staff, the Lead BCBA is positioned to grow into Clinical Director of Field Services.
What You'll Own
Clinical Leadership
- Direct caseload starting at 20 to 25 billable hours per week
- Supervision of the RBT field team across the North Metro Atlanta service area — growing from current caseload to 10 to 14 RBTs as the practice scales
- Assessment battery administration: VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PEAK, Vineland, functional behavior assessment, etc.
- Behavior intervention plan development and fidelity audit
- Parent training delivery against the established protocol
Field Operations
- Day-to-day field leadership — RBT performance, scheduling integrity, response to escalations
- RBT supervision documentation meeting BACB and Medicaid standards
Compliance and Quality
- Georgia LBA scope of practice compliance for self and supervised staff
- BACB ethics code adherence across the team
- Medicaid documentation standards — session notes, treatment plans, authorization narratives
- Clinical audit readiness for payer reviews
Workforce Development
- Execution and refinement of the RBT-to-BCBA pipeline that is a core GBH differentiator
- RBT competency framework — 30, 60, and 90-day checkpoints, ongoing field evaluation
- Input on the second BCBA hire and integration of additional clinical staff
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB
- Georgia Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)
- Active Georgia Medicaid provider ID strongly preferred; candidates without an active ID must be enrollment-eligible and willing to complete Gainwell enrollment immediately upon hire
- Active CAQH profile
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Current 8-hour supervisor training and active supervision experience documented per BACB standards
- 3+ years post-BCBA certification
- 2+ years supervising RBTs, ideally including in-home service delivery
- Direct experience writing and defending Medicaid authorizations
- Reliable transportation, valid Georgia driver's license, current auto insurance
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial payer experience (Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, UHC, Tricare)
- Medicaid experience
- Crisis and safety credential (SafetyCare, PCM, CPI, or equivalent) — required within 90 days of hire
- Telehealth experience for parent training and supervision
Compensation
- Base Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience
- Sign-On Bonus: $3,000, paid 90 days after start date

Working Conditions
Field-based role with daily travel across the North Metro Atlanta service area. Telehealth parent training and supervision sessions are part of the model. Administrative work is location-flexible. Ability to engage in direct service delivery with a variety of clients, including floor-level work, brief physical management consistent with crisis training, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
