We are currently hiring for a Full-time System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. This position is a 1st Shift Full Time position. Hours for this position are typically 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., but requires flexibility when necessary.
Core Systems Administration
- Windows Server administration and maintenance
- Active Directory and Group Policy management
- User account provisioning and access management
- Operating system installation, upgrades, and patch management
- Software installation, deployment, and configuration
- Troubleshooting system performance, outages, and hardware issues
- Experience with workstation, laptop, and printer support
- System monitoring and preventative maintenance
Virtualization & Infrastructure
- Hyper-V administration and virtualization management
- Server deployment and maintenance
- Storage management and backup infrastructure
- Disaster recovery planning and testing
- Veeam Backup & Replication administration
- Backup monitoring, recovery validation, and restore procedures
Networking
- Network configuration and troubleshooting
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing concepts
- VPN configuration and remote access support
- Wireless networking management
- Firewall administration and security policies
- Sophos Firewall management and configuration
- Network performance monitoring and issue resolution
- Managing switches, routers, and network infrastructure
Cloud & Hybrid Environment Experience
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
- Cloud backup and disaster recovery concepts
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration
Security & Compliance
- Managing access controls and permissions
- Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity best practices
- Firewall and endpoint security management
- Backup verification and disaster recovery preparedness
- Antivirus and endpoint protection management
- Security monitoring and incident response
- Multi-factor authentication and VPN security
Database & Application Support
- Basic to intermediate SQL administration and troubleshooting
- Database backup and maintenance support
- Application deployment and configuration
- Support for business-critical software systems
Physical Security & Surveillance
- UniFi camera and security system management
Hardware & End User Support
- Hardware troubleshooting and replacement
- Printer setup and support
- Peripheral device configuration and support
- End-user technical support and training
- Inventory and asset management
Soft Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
