Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and industry-specific regulations such as ASC 606 and COSO frameworks.
• Lead financial reporting processes, including the preparation of accurate financial statements, interpretation of financial reports, and regulatory filings.
• Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, risk analysis, and banking relationships to optimize capital structure.
• Drive strategic initiatives like mergers & acquisitions, fundraising efforts for business development, and market analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Implement robust internal controls for SOX compliance, risk management practices, and audit readiness.
• Guide the finance team in budgeting, expense management, cost control, financial modeling, and developing financial projection models to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on corporate strategy development, financial forecasting analysis, and long-term planning to ensure fiscal sustainability.
• Supervise all aspects of payroll management, supply chain finance considerations, and governmental or non-profit accounting standards where applicable.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in finance leadership roles such as finance directorship or CFO positions with a proven track record in strategic management and corporate finance.
• Deep understanding of accounting systems and financial software tools used for complex financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards, and industry-specific regulations including ASC 606.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis, regulatory reporting, revenue cycle management, and compliance frameworks like SOX and COSO.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing diverse finance teams in fast-paced environments; ability to influence across organizational levels.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial statements and develop actionable insights for executive decision-making.
• Proven success in mergers & acquisitions activities, fundraising for business development initiatives, and strategic planning processes.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with a comprehensive understanding of corporate strategy development within both non-profit and for-profit sectors where applicable.

Pay: $144,221.64 - $173,686.28 per year
