Position Summary: We’re looking for a Lead Technician with strong hands-on experience in enterprise access control and CCTV systems, for exampkle Genetec Security Center (Synergis & Omnicast), Lenel, AMAG, Ccure, Honeywell ProWatch and Exacq.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage a team of 3–5 technicians on enterprise security installation projects.
• Serve as the primary on-site technical lead for access control and CCTV deployments.

Terminate and install:

• Genetec Synergis access control panels & controllers
• Genetec Omnicast VMS
• Honeywell ProWatch panels
• Card readers, door contacts, REX devices, electronic locking hardware, cameras, and related field devices
• Provide real-time troubleshooting, guidance, and problem-solving.
• Train and mentor junior technicians, help them grow into future leaders.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, clients, and GC’s.
• Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and inventory tracking.
• Maintain a high standard of safety, professionalism, behavior, and appearance.
• Represent Care Security Systems with the same care you’d show to family, because that’s how we operate.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience installing/servicing commercial access control & CCTV systems.
• Minimum 2 years leading field teams (foreman, lead tech, crew leader, etc.).
• 6 months–2 years hands-on experience terminating:
• Experience in enterprise environments (corporate campuses, high-rise buildings, multi-site installations).

Technical Skills We’re Looking For

• Expert in access control panel/controller termination.
• Skilled in installing card readers (HID, Wiegand), door hardware, electronic locks, and field devices.
• Strong CCTV installation background: IP cameras, cabling, terminations, server platforms.
• Solid understanding of IP networking (switches, PoE, addressing, device connectivity).
• Able to read/interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and system drawings.
• Experienced with Cat5e/Cat6, coax, low-voltage cabling, pulling wire, and field troubleshooting.

Other Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel across NYC’s 5 boroughs & Long Island
• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environments
• Must be local or willing to commute to NYC/Long Island
