This is a full-time permanent position offering comprehensive employee benefits. It is a 100% on-site role, and we do not provide remote or hybrid work options.
The Incoming Quality Controller (IQC) Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, parts, and products received from suppliers or manufacturers meet established quality standards and specifications before they are used in production.
Educational Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering) or a related field.
- Certifications: Quality-related certifications like Six Sigma, ISO standards, or CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) can be a bonus.
Key Skills
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.), testing equipment, and inspection methods.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in identifying defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and data to determine conformity.
- Communication Skills: Reporting non-conformance issues and collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Inspection: Perform incoming inspections to verify materials meet predefined specifications.
- Testing: Conduct tests (e.g., hardness, tensile strength, etc.) as required by standards or customer requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain records of inspections, test results, and supplier certifications.
- Compliance: Ensure materials comply with quality standards and regulations.
- Supplier Management: Communicate and collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues or improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality improvement projects or initiatives.
Experience
- 2 yearsof related experience preferred.
Language Skills
- Must be proficient in English; Mandarin is a plus.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
