LiftHER Career is a career launcher focused on empowering soon-to-be and recent college graduates by building the essential skills, experience, and professional networks needed for long-term career success. We tackle barriers like underemployment, lack of experience, and limited professional networks to help young professionals confidently launch and grow their careers.

About the Program

Grad2Hire is LiftHER's signature career readiness training + hands-on experiential learning program which leads into direct job referrals. The program is designed for recent and upcoming graduates. This is not a passive course; it is an active "career launchpad".

Start with a 6-week virtual bootcamp where you will learn to navigate your job search, build personal branding, develop your professional portfolio through hands-on projects, earn industry-recognized credentials, and build the professional network and confidence needed to launch your career. Afterward, you will be referred for full-time roles, internships or a Fellowship.

This holistic program is enhanced by signature experiential learning and professional networking experiences like:

• Mock Interview Festival with working professionals and recruiters
• Industry-focused Capstone Project Challenge with a chance to present to industry leaders.
• 1:1 CareerCafe Chats with our network of LiftHER mentors to build your network
• Engage with guest speakers who will provide insider insights to help you stand out
• Community of peers that provide the collective accountability and momentum to keep you going

Exciting Additions for Fall 2026 Grad2Hire Program

We are partnering with the MetroHartford Alliance on the Fall 2026 Grad2Hire program. Selected participants will:

• Receive a matching scholarship to participate in Grad2Hire.
• Attend the Insuring the Future Summit in Hartford, CT for free with a travel stipend.
• Get world-class professional and networking skills training with real opportunities to practice it to jump start your professional network.
• Gain exclusive access to industry leaders and job opportunities.
