Duties

• Perform thorough diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues efficiently.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service equipment to complete repairs accurately.
• Execute wheel alignments and vehicle calibrations to ensure proper handling and safety standards are met.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Skills

• Proven dealership or service shop experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
• Skilled in using schematics, diagnostic software, and testing equipment for precise troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment machines, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude combined with proficiency in hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and automotive service equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally.
