The National Account Manager will support the VP, Sales USA in managing and growing the Menards account, with accountability for Bath sales growth, profitability, customer relationship management, forecasting, promotional execution, and overall business performance.
This role serves as the primary business contact between Menards and FGI Industries, working closely with internal teams including Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to execute account strategies and support annual business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for the Menards account, building strong customer relationships and ensuring timely resolution of account-related matters.
· Develop and execute account plans that support sales growth, profitability, assortment expansion, customer satisfaction, and annual business objectives.
· Prepare sales forecasts, monitor account performance, analyze trends, and recommend actions to improve sales, margin, inventory, and service-level results.
· Lead and support product line reviews, new product introductions, item setup, assortment planning, pricing discussions, and customer presentations.
· Coordinate promotional, merchandising, and marketing initiatives, ensuring customer-facing materials, product information, and retailer portal updates are accurate and current.
· Partner with internal teams to support order fulfillment, demand planning, replenishment, inventory management, issue resolution, and overall customer service performance.
· Prepare business reports and present insights, opportunities, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications and skills:
Ø Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
Ø Minimum 5 years of account management, sales, or key account experience, preferably with U.S. retail, big-box, home improvement, or national account customers.
Ø Experience with Menards or similar home improvement retailers is considered an asset.
Ø Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, margin management, forecasting, promotional planning, and sales performance analysis.
Ø Experience with account planning, customer presentations, product line reviews, assortment planning, new item setup, and retailer/vendor portals.
Ø Working knowledge of supply chain, demand planning, replenishment, inventory management, order fulfillment, and service-level performance.
Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel; experience with sales reporting tools, ERP systems, and EDI preferred.
Ø Excellent communication, presentation, organization, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
Ø Collaborative, proactive, customer-focused, and able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Ø Able to travel within the United States as required and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
