Due to growth, Bank of Luxemburg is looking to add a Senior Credit Analyst to our Credit team! As a Senior Credit Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our lenders, customers, and leadership team by delivering high‑quality credit analysis that strengthens our loan decisions and supports responsible growth. NOTE: This is NOT a remote position and will work out of our Luxemburg, WI main office.
About the Role
In this role, you will review and analyze complex financial information to assess creditworthiness and support sound lending decisions. You’ll prepare comprehensive loan presentations used by loan officers, senior management, and the Board of Directors, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with bank policy. As a trusted resource, you’ll also provide insights, recommendations, and risk ratings that help guide the bank’s credit strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Develop Credit Presentations — Prepare detailed analyses for new, renewal, and complex commercial loan requests.
- Analyze Financial Data — Review tax returns, financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and credit reports to determine repayment ability.
- Ensure Compliance — Verify lending limits, risk ratings, and adherence to bank policies and regulatory expectations.
- Collaborate with Loan Officers — Present findings, offer opinions, and occasionally join client meetings to review financial information.
- Support Audits & Projects — Assist with internal/external audits, stress testing, and special projects that enhance bank processes.
What You Bring
- Commercial Credit Experience — 5–7 years of progressive credit analysis experience in a commercial lending environment.
- Education Background — Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Strength — Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Analytical Excellence — Strong financial analysis, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities.
- Communication & Teamwork — Clear verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
