Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Purchasing Analyst to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing purchasing data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, evaluating supplier performance, and supporting on-site Buyers. This role plays a key part in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring efficient procurement operations.
Duties include:
· Analyze purchasing trends, supplier performance, and internal conditions to support procurement decisions.
· Collect, clean, and analyze purchasing data from internal systems and external sources to develop and maintain purchasing reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
· Monitor inventory levels and intercompany shipments to prevent shortages or overstock.
· Collaborate with departments such as category management, sales, and operations to understand purchasing needs and timelines.
· Monitor and manage vendor rebates, promotions, and allowances to ensure accurate and timely collection and distribution.
· Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
· Support Buyers on the implementation of best practices, procurement systems, and new tools.
· Conduct other miscellaneous reporting for purchasing leadership, General Managers, and Buyers across our 25 locations.
· All other duties and projects assigned.
