Idaho Power — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for a temporary IT Business Systems Analyst or Senior to join our Information Technology team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. While this position is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location, we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote.
What does an IT Business Systems Analyst do for us?
With moderate supervision, a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) works on requests and projects as a liaison between technologists and stakeholders. Their primary functions include solution assessment and validation, elicitation, analysis, management, and communication of requirements. They understand technology and applications and have experience with business processes and information systems. They translate and align solutions to meet IT strategy and business objectives, analyze and assist the business with defining and/or designing new business solutions, test and implement processes and new functionality, and troubleshoot and document system and user issues. This job resides within the IT organization.

This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
