Laborer Helper / Rack Assembler & Trailer Driver - Spanish Speaking

Job Overview

SM TECH LLC is hiring 3 Spanish speaking full-time workers for an industrial rack assembly and material moving project in Holt, Michigan. This role involves transporting crates between job locations, unloading and opening crates, and assembling industrial racks on-site.

We are looking for 2 helpers/assemblers who can support unpacking, organizing, and assembling materials, and 1 driver who is experienced and comfortable driving a trailer. The transport route is approximately 15 miles one way between locations.

ResponsibilitiesLaborer Helper / Rack Assembler

• Open, unpack, and organize crates and materials
• Assist with moving materials safely on-site
• Assemble industrial racks according to supervisor instructions
• Use basic hand tools and follow assembly procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety rules and site instructions

Trailer Driver

• Safely drive materials/crates between locations, approximately 15 miles one way
• Load, secure, transport, and unload crates as needed
• Operate a vehicle with trailer safely and responsibly
• Assist with unpacking and assembly when not driving
• Follow all transportation and jobsite safety requirements

Requirements

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time
• Must be able to lift, move, and handle crates/materials safely
• Experience with general labor, warehouse, assembly, construction, or installation preferred
• Basic hand tool experience preferred
• Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• For Driver position: trailer driving experience required
• Driver must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving ability

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Some Saturdays may be required for overtime
• Full-time hours
• Overtime available depending on project needs

Pay

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and role.
