Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise retail sales teams, ensuring high levels of motivation, performance, and customer engagement
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation and availability
• Oversee store operations including opening, closing, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service
• Handle purchasing, pricing strategies, and budgeting to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing
• Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and operational procedures while supervising shift management

Qualifications

• Proven retail management experience with a strong background in sales team leadership and operational oversight
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams through managerial communication techniques
• Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling
• Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing negotiations
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Experience with POS systems, retail math calculations, and basic math skills essential for daily operations
• Supervising experience in retail industry sales teams or assistant manager roles highly desirable
• Knowledge of wireless sales, grocery store operations, or similar retail sectors is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently using excellent time management and organizational skills
