JOB SUMMARY:
The Program Coordinator – Autism is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the clinical quality and integrity of treatment in IBHS, WK, and ABA, by ensuring that the consumers in the site-based group setting are receiving quality, therapeutic, behavioral health services, including completing a detailed assessment, creating and implementing an individualized treatment plan, collaborating with other team members, and facilitating team meetings. The incumbent also provides clinical oversight and guidance according to identified needs and general best practices to ensure positive outcomes for the consumers at the clinical site, including the observation of and interaction with staff during group sessions.
This position works under the direction of the Program Director I – IBHS & ABA or Site Manager II and is highly collaborative with other positions across the agency, especially the Therapist II – Lead Wonder Kids and Authorization Specialists. This position also allows for telecommuting.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Master’s degree in a human services field (preferred in psychology, social work, or counseling).
Experience:
· 3 years of clinical experience working directly with children/adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and/or mental health disorders.
· 1 year of experience with clinical documentation.
· 1 year of experience with training and supervising other direct care staff.
· ABA: Licensed in PA as one of the following:
o Psychologist
o Professional Counselor (LPC)
o Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
o Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
o Social Worker (LSW)
o Behavior Specialist (LBS)
o Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
· ABA: And one of the following:
o Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
o 12 credits in ABA services and 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services
o 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA and 40 hours of training in ABA
Licenses, Certifications & Clearances:
· IBHS and WK: LPC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, or BSL (with a clinical or mental health direct service practicum preferred)
· Act 33/34 Clearances
· FBI Clearance
Valid State of PA Class 1 Drivers License
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Completes IBHS/WK/ABA assessments based on designed time frames or when clinically needed.
· Develops individualized treatment plans and monitors the implementation of the plans for each child/adolescent.
· Maintains progress notes, data analysis, data collection methods, and other required paperwork/reports for each consumer on caseload.
· Meets with the child, family, Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), case manager, Program Director I – IBHS & ABA or Site Manager II, MCO, school officials, and other treatment team members as required.
· Reports child’s/adolescent’s progress at treatment team meetings, including an overview of data as it relates to the progress in multiple life domains, specific symptoms, problems, needs, and plans for continued treatment.
· Provides clinical support, training, and mentoring to BHTs on how to implement interventions identified in the individual treatment plans.
· IBHS and WK: Works closely with the Therapist II – Lead Wonder Kids to receive clinical reports prior to IBHS/WK assessment completion and treatment team meetings. Ensures the completion of Social Responsiveness Scales with all consumers.
· ABA: Works closely with the clinicians to receive clinical reports prior to IBHS/ABA assessment completion and treatment team meetings.
· May assist in providing clinical supervision to BHTs.
· Attends any Department of Human Services (DHS) or private insurer’s mandatory trainings.
· Completes incident reports, as required, and follows mandated reporter guidelines for reporting suspected abuse.
· Receives monthly supervision from the Program Director I – IBHS & ABA or Site Manager II.
· Evaluates programs for consistency and fidelity to the treatment philosophy and program/payer standards. Assists the Program Specialist in the identification and prevention of clinical risks.

· Knowledge of childhood mental health diagnoses and behavioral conditions, including autism spectrum disorders, as well as the various treatment modalities for these.
· Ability and the skills to conduct clinical training and supervision with staff using coaching and mentoring as needed.
· Ability to conduct objective assessments of staff and services to develop plans to improve clinical practices.
· In-depth knowledge of evidenced-based practices, including current and ongoing trends within the fields of autism, mental health, and behavior analysis.
· In-depth knowledge of data collection, interpretation, and analysis, including effective documentation.
· Knowledge of child development and behavior management strategies.
· Skills in accurate clinical assessments, setting treatment goals, identifying appropriate interventions, and providing therapeutic treatments to children and adolescents with autism.
· Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple activities/tasks to accomplish objectives.
· Ability to have a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends with the ability to meet weekly scheduling demands.
