Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our finance team. The Accounting Associate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reconciliations, and ensure timely processing of financial transactions. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with collections and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare and process journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Review invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist in preparing financial reports and spreadsheets
• Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Support audits and provide requested financial documentation

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience required; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills

• QuickBooks experience
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment
