We are a small, collegial law firm based in midtown Manhattan. We are searching for a contract attorney who can assist on an hourly basis with our growing transactional practice. This is a great opportunity for an attorney looking for a flexible, part-time, and fully-remote practice.

The right candidate will have the following attributes:

• A JD from a well-regarded law school.
• Must be a member in good standing of the bar. Strong preference to New York bar, but applicants barred in New Jersey, Delaware or California will also be considered.
• Some experience with commercial contracts (particularly SaaS contracts and consulting MSA/SOWs), employment law compliance, and other in-house counsel type tasks.
• High level of competence with computers and digital systems used by attorneys.
• Strong academic credentials, writing skills, and the ability to work independently.
• A talent for efficiently creating polished and presentable work product.

The position is strictly hourly with an initial range of $60-$110 per hour, depending on experience. There is an opportunity to grow with the role and to gain substantive experience with a startup-focused practice (including significant client interaction) as part of an ambitious, tight-knit team of lawyers. Our office is in central midtown. There would be an opportunity to work in-office, but it would not be required.
