Practice Head Summary
Chetu is seeking a full-time, ambitious Practice Head to lead and grow a defined book of business. This leadership role sits at the intersection of business growth, client relationship management, and portfolio oversight.
We are targeting professionals with 10–15 years of experience who are ready to step into a larger leadership role. Ideal candidates may currently serve as Business Development Managers, Engagement Managers, Practice Managers, Program Managers, or similar roles where they consistently exceed expectations and demonstrate leadership beyond their title.
The ideal candidate comes from an IT services environment — preferably Wipro, HCL, TCS, or similar — and has a strong commercial mindset. This individual excels at driving new client acquisition, expanding existing accounts, building trust-based client relationships, and leading PMs to deliver high-quality outcomes across a portfolio.
Compensation Structure
Package: $140,00-$160,000
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth (50%)
- Drive new client acquisition and expansion within existing accounts
- Build and execute growth strategies across the portfolio
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to identify new markets, opportunities, and channels
- Support pre-sales activities including trade shows, discovery calls, tech calls, and proposal preparation
Client Relationship Management (25%)
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders
- Lead executive business reviews and ensure PMs run consistent operational reviews
- Represent Chetu externally through client meetings, conferences, webinars, and industry events
Management of PMs & Portfolio (25%)
- Manage, mentor, and motivate direct and indirect reports
- Oversee delivery quality and alignment across US and India teams
- Track portfolio performance including revenue, utilization, retention, and growth metrics
- Translate insights into actionable improvements and present recommendations to leadership
Requirements
Experience
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in IT services, digital transformation, custom software, or consulting
- Experience in roles tied to business growth, client expansion, or practice development
- Strong management skills with experience leading delivery teams
- Executive-level client-facing experience with measurable improvements in satisfaction and retention
- Experience working with offshore India delivery teams across time zones

Education & Travel
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- Background in business, engineering, computer science, or related field welcome
- Willingness to travel for clients, conferences, trade shows, and Chetu offices (including India)
