Job Overview
The Estimators primary objective is to build relationships to provide a profitable revenue source. The Estimator is responsible for selecting his/her projects to bid. The Estimator must review all front-end documentation ex.: Sub-Contract Agreements, Owner to General Contractor Agreement, Insurance Requirements, Safety Procedures, and project logistics. Estimators must review architectural, structural, mechanical, and landscape drawings along with the specifications, providing accurate material take-offs, provide estimated time to fabricate and install materials, request and receive quotes from multiple manufactures/vendors. The Estimator must contact General Contractors and ask for feedback/rundown on bids - the feedback from the General Contractor will help the company be competitive with our competition on future projects. Must meet Goals at the end of the year.
