KAG Dry Bulk, LLC. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our growing dry bulk transportation team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in coordinating freight movements, supporting drivers, and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of dry bulk materials across our transportation network.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate daily dry bulk freight shipments and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, terminals, customers, and operations teams to ensure on-time service.
• Track shipments in real time and quickly resolve delivery or scheduling issues.
• Assist with load planning, route coordination, and transportation scheduling.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, delivery records, and operational reports.
• Support billing, invoicing, freight documentation, and customer service activities.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, company safety policies, and transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate shipment records using transportation management systems (TMS).
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes and enhance overall operational performance.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, supply chain, or operations coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with email and logistics software.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dry bulk, tanker, trucking, or specialized freight operations.
• Working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ELD platforms, and dispatch software.
• Familiarity with DOT and FMCSA transportation regulations.
• Experience coordinating freight schedules, routes, and carrier communications.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
