As an On Call Banquets Server at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $23.18 per hour.

A day in the life of our Banquets Servers…it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.

• Our Banquet Servers are responsible for completing all reasonable tasks assigned to by the Director of Banquets and Assistant Director of Banquets during their day. This will include servicing all functions including plated, buffet, silver served or VIP meals, coffee breaks, benefits, theme parties, wedding, receptions, etc., ensuring all tables and chairs are set and the function room is clean and neat prior to leaving for the shift, all condiments and food and beverage items have been returned to the kitchen, skirts and props go back to the banquet storerooms and maintaining a clean, neat and organized work area to guarantee our guests receives nothing but the best experience.

• Sometimes our guests have special requests involving specialty drinks, amenities, food allergies and/or special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Banquet Servers.

• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Banquet Servers are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.

• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Banquet Servers must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.

The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, our Banquet Servers are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel or crouch. Ability to stand for long periods (more than 8 hours). The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
