Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various hair cutting techniques, including, clipper cuts, Scissor cuts, and Shaving. As a Hair Stylist, you will provide exceptional customer service while creating haircuts that enhance the client's appearance and confidence. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace while adhering to sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide hair cutting, shaving, and styling services to clients based on their preferences and current trends.
• Utilize straight razor techniques for precise cuts and styles.
• Use salon software, specifically Salon Ultimate, for waitlist management.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with state regulations.
• Offer exceptional customer service by actively listening to client needs and providing personalized consultations.
• Engage in retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided.
• Assist with front desk duties including waitlist management and client check-ins.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through continuous education and training.

Skills

• Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting and barbering techniques
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices within a shop environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to perform retail math for sales transactions and inventory management.
• Experience with salon management software such as Salon Ultimate is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $29.07 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
