Job Overview: The Irons Club, a new, premier indoor golf and social club located in downtown St. Petersburg, FL. We offer a unique and vibrant environment where members and guests can enjoy state-of-the-art golf simulators, a chef-curated menu, an inviting atmosphere & club culture . As we prepare for our grand opening, we are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Bay Hosts. The Bay Host role is a hybrid position that combines the responsibilities of a server, bartender, and golf simulator attendant. As a Bay Host, you will be the face of The Irons Club, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. You will greet members and guests, serve food and beverages, assist with setting up the golf simulators, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Engagement: Welcome and engage with members and guests, providing a warm and friendly environment.
• Service Excellence: Take food and beverage orders, deliver items promptly, and ensure guests' needs are met throughout their stay.
• Bartending: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Golf Simulator Setup: Assist guests with setting up their golf simulator sessions, curate their visit based on their experience level, providing guidance on the equipment and ensuring all technical aspects are functioning properly.
• Maintenance and Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the simulator bays, bar, and dining areas, ensuring a polished and inviting atmosphere.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen staff, bartenders, Director of Golf and other team members to ensure seamless service.
• Upselling and Promotions: Inform guests about special promotions, events, and membership packages to enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits.
• Problem Solving: Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive resolution.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a customer-facing role, such as server, bartender, or similar, is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of golf or a willingness to learn about golf simulators and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• TIPS or ServSafe certification is a plus.
