As a Product Owner / Business Analyst, you will serve as the vital link between business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users. Your expertise in environmental regulatory permitting, compliance and workflow case management processes and Salesforce will directly inform product requirements, ensuring our solutions meet the needs of the client and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders. This position supports a federal government contract that legally requires U.S. citizenship. Additionally, you must physically reside and perform all work within the United States.

Location: Candidate can work remotely

Salary range: $105000-$120000 annually

Position status: Full Time; with benefits

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into user stories, product features, and testable acceptance criteria.
• Use Salesforce platform expertise to map workflows, define system configurations, and support solution validation.
• Prioritize product backlogs and collaborate with stakeholders to define clear, measurable acceptance criteria.
• Lead workshops and user interviews to refine solution design, with a focus on usability, user requirements, and validation needs.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and UX designers to ensure delivery of effective, compliant, and testable functionality.
• Participate in functional and user acceptance testing to validate that delivered solutions meet defined acceptance criteria.
• Support test planning and execution to ensure features align with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with QA and business stakeholders to verify solution quality through acceptance testing.
• Support product release planning, status tracking, and stakeholder reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role delivering Salesforce solutions.
• Demonstrated involvement in the development, implementation, or enhancement of environmental regulatory permitting, compliance and workflow case management processes, ideally for federal and state government programs.
• Hands-on experience working with the Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud platforms on relevant projects.
• Exceptional skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and translating needs into actionable technical specifications.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities, including experience facilitating workshops and user discovery sessions.
• Experience with test automation is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in agile/scrum product development environments.
• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Nice to have: Product Management certification
